The Marriage Between Painting and Quilting

I create one-of-a-kind wall-hanging quilts that blend painting and quilting into a unique art form. Each piece at Artful Quilts begins with hand-dyed fabric, painted with original designs, and finished with intricate micro-quilting.

My Studio

When I’m not in the studio, you’ll usually find me in the garden — tending flowers, battling the occasional mole or gopher, and enjoying the rhythm of the seasons. I also love getting outside to walk our dog Ollie and savor the slow, joyful pace of retirement. My days are a mix of art, nature, and simple pleasures, all of which shape the work I create.
